The strangest thought comes to my mind: is it me, or does Marlene’s dad look like Don Knotts? I keep hearing his voice whenever I read her dad’s side of the dialogue.
OH!
I knew Marlene’s dad was supposed to look like somebody but I always thought his face was based Peter Lorre’s or just a smart ass Steve Buscemi.

I like the different styles, it’s interesting to see these characters in different lights 🙂
The lighting really sets the mood for this strip, as does the previous one.
