Ctrl-clicking used to open links in a new tab, and now it does that in addition to opening them in the same tab… which is pretty stupid. Do you think you could look into fixing this? It’s hampering my enjoyment of this great comic. 🙁

I’m not sure what you mean! But I’ll look into my settings and see what I have for that.

I’ll try to explain better, but I’m not very good at it. My laptop lacks a middle mouse button, so if I want to open a link in a new tab I ctrl-click it. This works on the vast majority of websites, and worked on the old version of this site.

Often I want to open the previous comic in a new tab to make sure I haven’t missed one, but keep the current one that’s already loaded open. Now what happens is that it pulls up the previous comic in both tabs and I lose the current one. You can probably replicate it by ctrl-clicking on your computer.

i’m not sure i can figure out how to stop it from doing that. but hitting “next” on one of them will solve this problem.

Wow. I actually have friends like this. The only way it could get any closer to my life is if, at some point, Cleo had a decent reason for not liking Nikki, and Ivy and Marlene suddenly randomly liked Nikki.

Like they really need a “decent reason” for disliking her? The “What did they ever do to you?” defense is honestly kinda dumb! People don’t really need a reason to not get along; sometimes personalities just clash. And Nikki is kind of a horrible person on top of that! Just because Marlene is a hypocrite wrt the personal question thing, doesn’t stop it from being an incredibly personal question.

But Cleo is also my least favorite character in this comic by a longshot so maybe I’m just predisposed to not taking her side. I don’t mean to start some INTERNET BICKERING. I’m pretty sure we can all agree that this is the best webcomic, so we are all friends. I’m just pointing out how good the comic is by showing how it has alternate interpretations! Or something.

Aw, I kinda like Nikki. She’s pretty lame for that first comic about the old/ugly models (fat is the best thing to draw, just sayin’), but other than that it seems like she’s just out of her element. She tries too hard, comes off too strong, and has some bad taste, but she seems earnest and friendly. I think. Maybe it is some crazy mind-game and she’s really a two-faced bitch. At the very least, she isn’t like Cheryl. Guh. Cheryl. SooYung needs to punch her again.

You’re right about personalities clashing, though. My friends and I do the exact same thing. Hell, I’m not sure I’d be able to get along with Nikki in real life.
Gah, does this count as internet bickering? Right now it just feels like, well, like you said: interpretation.

Hating people is fun; some folks just don’t get it.

Oh, Ms. Porter. How you describe my friends’ hating of someone so well.

Glad to see Bobwhite’s new website 😀
