  5. JDW says:

So actually graduating from college ellicits no more than a “meh,” but when THEY do it I get all emotional. I think that I’ll wisely choode to not delve deeper into whatever that might mean.

  6. franki says:

Loving the sunset. All good stories should end with a sunset. Even if monday’s doesn’t, I’m glad today’s did 🙂

  7. Paul-Andre says:

Yes, thank you very much for all these great comics. Can’t wait to read your future project(s)

  8. Ashley says:

It’s weird to know that these fake cartoon women captured my graduation experience PERFECTLY – I feel genuinely connected to the Bobwhite girls

I’m going to miss them so

  9. Niall says:

Wow. The Final Bobwhite. I was wondering what would happen to the comic after they graduate. Thanks Magnolia. It’s been great, really great, even if I came into the story at its tail-end. I’ll check back in Monday for the final comic, I guess. I can’t say I’m not sad that this story has neared its end.

  10. Mike R says:

Bobwhite has been one of the most consistently funny, poignant, interesting, and well drawn webcomics for the past couple of years. I’ll be so sad to see it end! But Magnolia, I wish you nothing but success and joy with your next projects – keep ’em coming!

  11. Brendan says:

No emoticon can convey my sadness.

  12. Anonymous says:

Everything I wanted to say has already been said, I feel like.

But I will say you’ve created something wonderful in the little world of Bobwhite and I’m really going to miss it (especially Ivy!). I’m definitely looking forward to your future work. Thanks for sharing with us all, Magnolia.

  13. I’ve loved this comic for so long and can’t wait to read your next project! Seems to me if you ever want to return to the characters you will have quite the repeat following. Best wishes and good luck with your future projects! Please let all of us commenters know what’s on deck for you in the future!

  14. Krimson says:

    WOW. Shut up, you guys!

I can’t handle this. SooYung graced my life with sheer badassery, and Figley broke my prejudices and made me love him, and now EVERYONE IS LEAVING.

Well, except Frank. Frank’s gonna be teaching there forever.

  15. DOG says:

ivy explains exactly how I feel about the end of this comic in the third panel. it’s been a good run, can’t wait for the next project!

  16. jec says:

    oh god… ;____; I was hoping it’d never end..
I spent like half my day yesterday re-reading their junior year.. and considering how many projects I have due for school, and that all my final exams are NEXT WEEK, that was like 200% of my free time! Happily spent, though, and I don’t regret missing sleep for it. I adore these characters and this comic so much.
ho boy.. see you again Monday, I guess, then, and make sure we, your adoring fans, know what you’re doing next. ;-; I must follow you foreverrr.

  17. craig says:

wait, so none of them had to take summer classes or an extra year? I’m not sure this reflects the typical college experience.

  18. Louisa says:

But…but dang it, I just found this comic a month ago!

  19. Olivia says:

I really feel like I’m losing some good friends when this comic ends… This sucks, but it also means you’ve achieved exactly what you could have hoped for as an artist and storyteller. I’m gonna miss these guys. Anticipating Monday with a sunken heart.

  20. David says:

    Noo! Don’t jump! (kidding)

  21. Sela says:

Ngl, there’s totally gonna e a void in my day now. 🙁

  22. retropkid says:

  23. Michaela says:

I’ve loved every update of this comic, all the way through, and I’m super emotional now that’s at its close. You 8etter post any news of your future projects here so I can follow you forward!! Thanks so much for 8o8white! (excuse my missing key.) Much love and awe <3

  24. thivnav says:

    AS WE GO ONNNN

    WE REMEMBERRRR

  25. Suilean Dubh says:

Wow, Cleo looks super-stoned in that fourth panel. But seriously, I love this, it’s so sad and I love that they’re still flippant as ever at the end. It’s a beautiful strip, especially the first panel which is unbelievably good art, and I’m so happy that I found this comic. My best friend and I make jokes all the time about how similar we are to Cleo and Marlene (She’s a sarcastic, cranky old British man in personality, and I’m an anxiety-riddled nerdy little spaz), and just… great big hearts for you and all the girls. All my love.

  26. Emily says:

Man, that’s how it felt when I graduated Saturday. It just felt like another day, like I was just going through something that was too surreal for me to even acknowledge.

Geez Ivy, way to be super right.

  27. Poppy says:

    What noooo.
    I love bobwhite.
    Say it ain’t so?

  28. Deborah says:

I transferred twice, so I never had that feeling.
